An ANC supporter who was stabbed and beaten to death by a named perpetrator who formed part of a group of men carrying traditional weapons and allegedly looking for ANC supporters on 30 April 1990 in Pholile, Matatiele, Natal. Nine homes were burnt in the area that day. At the time ANC supporters were also killed in an attempt to prevent the setting up of local ANC branches in the area.
