A UDF supporter who was shot and injured on 7 June 1988 when members of the SAP opened fire on a group of people waiting at a bus stop in KwaPata, KwaZulu, near Pietermaritzburg. Mr Zondi was suspected of having taken part in a stayaway the previous day.
