Ncalu attacks

Explanation
Intense political fighting broke out between ANC and IFP supporters in Ncalu, Ixopo, Natal, in late June 1992, allegedly sparked by the earlier killing of a woman from the IFP-dominated area of Maweni and the burning of several homes by youths believed to be ANC supporters. More than 100 people fled Ncalu after 20 homes were burnt down.
