Njobokazi attack

Explanation
On 18 March 1990, unknown persons, believed to be UDF supporters, attacked an Inkatha induna's house at Njobokazi, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu, near Durban, with AK47s and grenades. Fifteen people were killed, including two KwaZulu Special Constables. Several homes were burnt down.

1.12 The murder and attempted murder of an unknown number of people and the burning down of approximately thirty houses in the Enkunzini area near Njobokazi during a retaliatory attack in 1989 or 1990;
      At that time I was staying at Njobokazi and I did not move to any other area.  I informed my uncle of the rumours that the Mabaso clan had conspired to kill me, and for advice.  He advised me to attack first before they can do anything that might cause harm to me or my family.
