ANDERSON, Cynthia Valerie

Was shot dead in the Silverton bank siege in Pretoria, on 25 January 1980. Three MK members held her hostage during a raid on the bank. Ms Anderson, one other civilian and the three MK members were all killed during a gunfight after police stormed the bank. Several other people were injured.
