Was severely injured when a bomb, planted by members of the AVF, exploded in Wesselsbron, Orange Free State, on 15 November 1993, during a right-wing campaign to force the government to acknowledge their struggle for the creation of a volkstaat. Four perpetrators were granted amnesty (AC/1999/0001)
