An ANC member from Botshabelo near Bloemfontein who was held in custody by the ANC, first in Tanzania in June 1985, and later in Zambia and Angola. In Angola he was first held at the Viana transit camp and then at Quibaxe. While in custody he was subjected to torture over a prolonged period.
