Was beaten, tortured and stabbed to death in Brits, Transvaal, on 21 May 1988. He was the chairperson of the Brits Action Committee, which resisted forced incorporation into the former Bophuthatswana homeland. The named perpetrators were allegedly members of a vigilante group acting against the Oukasie community.
