Was shot at by MK operatives and ANC members, during a robbery at his family’s farm in Addo, Port Elizabeth, on 17 August 1992. One person was killed and Mr de Villiers and one other escaped injury. Two MK operatives applied for amnesty. One was granted and the other refused (AC/1999/0234).
