Was injured when she was trapped in her burning home in Inanda, near KwaMashu, Durban, on 22 March 1988. Ms Duma shared the house with her daughter and grandchild, both of whom were injured when Inkatha youths petrol-bombed the house after her sons went into hiding along with other UDF supporters, following threats to their lives.
