Description
A SANCO chairperson who was shot by members of the SAP during a funeral at Nemato, Port Alfred, Cape, on 16 November 1984. Mr Gqolodashe was monitoring funeral proceedings to avoid confrontation between police and mourners. He was charged with public violence, and then convicted and sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment.
