His brother, who was detained with him, was later found dead hanging in his cell. | References | JACOBS, David Brasilo | 18 | A UDF supporter who was shot and injured by members of the SAP when police opened fire on mourners attending the funeral of an unrest victim in Zweletemba, Worcester, Cape, in August 1985. Mr Jacobs was shot dead on 7 August 1987 in Guguletu, Cape Town, when an unidentified perpetrator in a vehicle opened fire on Mr Jacobs and his friends. | References | JACOBS, Denis Mark | | Was injured when MK operatives detonated a limpet mine in a dustbin at the Vanderbijl Square bus terminus, Johannesburg, on 21 September 1988. Nineteen people were injured and a number of vehicles and buildings were damaged. Two MK Special Operations operatives were granted amnesty (AC/2000/056). Two MK operatives threw a hand grenade at the building, but it bounced back into the crowd, killing one person and injuring forty one others. Two ANC members were wrongly convicted of the killing.
