A UDF supporter who was shot and injured by members of the SAP when police opened fire on mourners attending the funeral of an unrest victim in Zweletemba, Worcester, Cape, in August 1985. Mr Jacobs was shot dead on 7 August 1987 in Guguletu, Cape Town, when an unidentified perpetrator in a vehicle opened fire on Mr Jacobs and his friends.
