Was abducted, severely assaulted and tortured by named and other supporters of a named Crossroads leader on 22 May 1993 in order to force him to falsely implicate their political opponents for violent acts. Crossroads leader, Jeffrey Nongwe, and three others were later acquitted in court of the abduction and assault.
