Was shot and injured by members of the SAP in Lesehleng Village, Moutse, KwaNdebele, on 15 February 1986. Mr Madisa allegedly refused to heed a command to stop running when police were dispersing stone-throwing youths during conflict over incorporation into the newly self-governing KwaNdebele homeland.
