An ANC supporter who was severely beaten by IFP supporters in Nyanini, KwaZulu, near Eshowe, Natal, on 3 June 1993. An IFP mass meeting had been held that day. Mr Madondo and other ANC supporters had been campaigning for the ANC in the upcoming April 1994 elections when they were attacked by IFP supporters.
