An IFP supporter who was shot dead by ANC supporters in Phatheni, Richmond, Natal, on 12 February 1993 while riding on a truck on her way to work. The perpetrators allegedly targeted the truck because Ms Mafu and other passengers lived in Phatheni, an IFP stronghold. Three people were shot dead.
