A UDF supporter who was continually harrassed, detained, tortured and had his property destroyed by the Kwa-Ndebele Police in KwaNdebele, between 1986 and 1987. On 8 December 1987 Mr Mahlangu was shot by members of the KwaNdebele Police during conflict over the proposed independence of KwaNdebele.
