Was shot dead by members of the SAP in Mhluzi, Middelburg, Transvaal, on 21 November 1990 while participating in a march to Middelburg police station organised by the ANCWL in protest against the harrassment of their children by Mhluzi and Middelburg police. Police opened fire on the marchers, killing five people and injuring eight others.
