Was injured when a hand grenade exploded in a bus transporting workers in Heidelberg, Transvaal, on 28 September 1992 during a labour dispute between striking COSATU-aligned FAWU workers and non-striking IFP-aligned UWUSA workers from July to December 1992. One person was killed and thirteen others were injured in the attack.
