The wife of an Amasolomzi vigilante who was stabbed and injured by a named UDF supporter in Zolani, Ashton, Cape, on 8 April 1986, during conflict between residents and the Amasolomzi. Ms Matroos had been a state witness in a court case against several UDF supporters.
