His leg was later amputated as a result of the shooting. | References | | MBANDLWA, Themba Christopher | 29 | Was tortured and kept in solitary confinement for three months after his detention in April 1986 at John Vorster Square, Johannesburg. He was then deported and constantly harassed because of his political involvement.
