Description Was stabbed repeatedly by IFP supporters in Boipatong, Vanderbijlpark, Transvaal, on 17 June 1992 during the Boipatong massacre. Ms Mbatha spent nine months in hospital and is still paralysed. Thirteen perpetrators were granted amnesty, a further three applications were refused (AC/2000/209).
