A COSAS member who was shot and killed by named members of the SAP in KwaGuga, near Witbank, Transvaal, on 25 April 1986. Police thought Mr Mbatha was part of a group of youths stoning his father`s house. His father was the mayor of KwaGuga and became a target for community protests.
