An MK operative who died on 19 March 1976 from injuries sustained during torture in detention at the Security Branch head office in Fischer Street, Durban. Mr Mdluli had been detained for interrogation on suspicion of recruiting youths for military training outside South Africa. Members of the Security Branch were charged with culpable homicide.
