An ANCYL member who was detained, along with his cousin, by members of the SAP at Dealesville, Orange Free State (OFS), on 25 August 1990, on suspicion of involvement in an attack on a councillor`s home. The cousins were made to lie on the ground and were shot at by the police members. His cousin was wounded in the shooting.
