An MK operative who was killed by members of the SAP during an MK mission in Vereeniging, Transvaal, on 12 March 1984. Mr Mgidi left Mamelodi, Pretoria, in 1980 to join MK and infiltrated the country two years later. Vereeniging police asked his parents to identify his body, which had three bullet wounds in the stomach and back.
