An IFP supporter who had her house burnt down by fellow IFP supporters at Mkhomo, KwaZulu, near Empangeni, Natal, on 3 July 1991. There had been rumours before the incident that the IFP was going to inspect all homes in the area that evening and require each person to produce his or her membership card. Members of the Mnguni family did not have membership cards and were accused of being ANC supporters. They fled the area, and their house was torched.
