Was stabbed in Boipatong, Vanderbijlpark, Transvaal, on 17 June 1992. Forty five people died and twenty seven were seriously injured when IFP-supporting residents of the KwaMadala hostel descended on the Boipatong community in the Boipatong massacre, allegedly planned and carried out with the aid of the police.
