An ANC supporter who was injured when he was stabbed and shot by members of the IFP-aligned Toaster gang at his home in Tembisa, Tvl, on 7 June 1992. Tembisa, like many East Rand townships, was embroiled in conflict between the ANC and IFP in the early 1990s.
