Was killed on 24 February 1994 in Bekkersdal, near Westonaria, Transvaal, while taking part in an attack on the house of an IFP supporter in the township. Bekkersdal was embroiled in conflict between ANC, IFP and AZAPO supporters during the early 1990s.
