Was part of a group of twenty six men arrested in Victoria West, Cape, on 24 April 1968, and charged with sabotage. After over a year in custody, the group was acquitted. This was part of a set of arrests and trials in the Karoo region in which Poqo networks were alleged to have conspired to rise up against the white population. The Commission found the charges to be groundless.
