Was shot and injured on 19 April 1993 in Zonkesizwe informal settlement near Vosloorus, Transvaal, when IFP supporters allegedly attacked a group of people returning from the funeral of assasinated SACP secretary general, Chris Hani. Two people were shot dead and three people, including Ms Msimanga, were injured in the attack.
