Was shot and wounded by an IFP member in KwaMakhutha, Amanzimtoti, near Durban, on 22 April 1990, allegedly in a revenge attack following an attack on the perpetrator`s house by unidentified UDF supporters. The perpetrator was refused amnesty (AC/1997/0059).
