Description
An alleged ANC member who was injured during a shoot-out with members of the SAP at Empangeni, Natal, on 14 August 1992. Afterwards, a member of the Empangeni Murder and Robbery Squad stopped the vehicle taking him to hospital and shot him dead. The policeman, who was subsequently sentenced to 18 years` imprisonment, was granted amnesty (AC/1997/0033).
