An ANC supporter who was abducted and severely beaten by ANC supporters in Inanda, near KwaMashu, Durban, on 14 December 1993. They questioned him about the location of his friends, who had allegedly stolen a handbag. Such internal conflict within the ANC comrades often led to the harassment of people suspected of being spies. Mbali escaped his attackers, but has not been seen since.
