An ANC member from Leslie, Transvaal, who was shot dead on 14 June 1985 in a cross-border attack launched by the SADF Special Forces together with the Security Branch on ANC offices and houses in Gaborone, Botswana. Twelve people were killed in the operation and six were wounded, including his wife and grand-daughter. See Gaborone raid.
