Was detained on his way to visit his brother on Robben Island, Cape, in 1965. He was taken to Pretoria Central prison, stripped naked, searched and held in solitary confinement for two weeks. Mr Naidoo was kept awake for two nights, interrogated, assaulted and was kept in solitary confinement for four months under the 180-day law. In 1980 he was detained under the General Law Amendment Act, assaulted and held in solitary confinement for two weeks.
