Was assaulted and forced to drink petrol before being shot dead when she, her cousin and her aunt were abducted into Kwesine hostel after they boarded a taxi on 23 December 1993 in Katlehong, Transvaal. They were forced to strip and then taken to a house and assaulted. They were then forced to drink petrol before being doused with it and shot. Lucy’s cousin was the only survivor of this incident.
