A COSAS chairperson who was stabbed by unidentified employees of the Provincial Authority in Botshabelo, near Bloem-fontein, on 12 February 1993, allegedly after stoning a Provincial Authority vehicle. COSAS members were supporting retrenched workers of NEHAWU at the time.
