An ANC supporter who was beaten to death and mutilated by members of the KwaZulu Police (KZP) at Nkandla, KwaZulu, near Melmoth, Natal, on 9 December 1982. His body was taken to the mortuary the next day, but the KZP reportedly told the victim’s family on 11 December that his body was too decomposed for a post-mortem to be conducted.
