Was shot and severely injured by a named member of the SAP in Ohlange, Inanda, near KwaMashu, Durban, on 22 September 1985 at a time of political tension and conflict in the area. Ms Ndlovu was hit by a bullet that entered her house through a window. She is permanently paralysed as a result of her injuries.
