Was shot and injured by named members of the Ciskei Police in Mdantsane, Ciskei, on 16 December 1986, when police attacked him and three other people on their way to church. One person was killed. The perpetrators were charged and one was convicted and sentenced to twenty eight years’ imprisonment. The other turned state witness.
