Description An IFP supporter who was detained under emergency regulations in February 1987 at Kirkwood, Cape, and held for six months during which he was severely beaten and tortured by members of the SAP who allegedly wanted to know the whereabouts of his brother, also an activist. He was detained twice during this period.
