Was severely injured when a hand grenade thrown by MK operatives exploded at her son’s house at Mamelodi, Pretoria, on 13 October 1985. Her son, a member of the SAP, and his wife were injured in the explosion. Two MK operatives were granted amnesty (AC/1999/260).
