Description Was shot dead by IFP-supporting hostel-dwellers in Orlando, Soweto, Johannesburg, on 24 May 1991. Hostel-dwellers were coerced into IFP membership after Inkatha launched itself as a political party in 1990. As a result, relations between residents and hostel-dwellers became increasingly strained.
