An ANC supporter who was detained and threatened with death by members of the SAP when he refused bribes to cooperate with police in Sharpeville, Vereeniging, Tvl, in 1991 during widespread police harassment of ANC supporters in the area. Mr Ntepe was also harassed by alleged members of the Municipal Police in 1984 for his role in the Sharpeville rent boycotts.
