A security guard who was shot and injured on the night of 31 May/1 June 1980 during a limpet mine attack on the Sasol 1/Natref Oil Refineries in Sasolburg, OFS. The attack was conducted by the Solomon Mahlangu unit, as part of Special Operations missions to target strategic economic and military targets. Four applicants were granted amnesty (AC/2001/003 and AC/2001/103).
