An ANC supporter who was arrested at KwaMashu, Durban, on 5 May 1977 and kept in solitary confinement until he was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment on Robben Island. Mr Ntsele was arrested for allegedly training the youth to overthrow the government. He was forced to make a statement implicating himself.
