Description
A nurse at Eshowe Hospital, was targeted for elimination by members of the Esikhawini hit squad at Eshowe, Natal, on 27 May 1993. Mr Nxumalo, who had forewarning of the attack, alerted the police when he saw the operatives. The intended attack was then called off. Four of the perpetrators were granted amnesty (AC/1999/0332).
